It's an iPod Classic, 5th gen. Another way to tell gen:
4th gen = no video support
5th gen = video support, U2 on the box, no search function under music menu
5.5 gen = video support, longer battery, "search" under music menu, Johnny Depp/Red Hot Chili Peppers on the box, brighter screen

All previous answers are only half right. The A1136 is for both the 5th and 5.5th Gen versions. In 2005 Apple released a 30GB and 60GB version of the 5th Gen Classic. In 2006 they released an additional 80GB, 120GB and 160GB version with a slightly amended Logic board. It was still classified as model A1136 but the copyright date on the back is 2006 and is known by 3rd parties as the 5.5Gen.
The Logic board part number for the 5.5Gen is 820-1975-A and works with both 5th and 5.5th Gen models. However the 820-1975 only works for the 5th gen and is limited to the 30GB and 60GB drives.
