Problem: Machine won't restart after interruption and resetting, 'start/pause' button remains flashing after pushing to restart.
I just bought this washing machine second hand, with a six month guarantee, from a dealer.
To test it before use - I started a cycle, with pre-wash. Pre-wash started, water came in, and the drum started to spin. No problems so far.
Then I interrupted the programme with the 'start/pause' button and 'skipped' onto the main wash.
When I pressed the 'start/pause' button to restart the machine it wouldn't restart and the 'start'pause' button remains flashing.
I rang the dealer and consulted the manual. Both suggested cancelling the programme, turning off power, resetting etc, which I've done.
There is water in the machine, and I've reset to drain. No luck. The door light is on but I can open and close it when I turn off the mains power. I can open and close the door, no luck either.
The machine just wont restart and the 'start/pause' button just remains flashing in any case.
The dealer said I 'confused the machine by interrupting it'. Problem is I live 200 miles away from the dealer!!
Any advice please,

I had exactly the same problem (with ZWQ61235).
I interrupted the program with the 'start/pause' button at last 7minute before end.
When I pressed the 'start/pause' button to restart the machine it wouldn't restart and the 'start'pause' button remains flashing.
Push the Temperature button and Spin button at the same time more then 5sec. After the beep you can restart the stuck program with the Start/Pause button.
It's not working
Hello,
When you put it to drain/spin does the pump make any attempt to drain,if not it could be that there is something stuck in the pump,needs draining manually.Another thing to try is to find the fault code.If you hold down the 2 buttons on the far right of panel then press on/off button till lights start chasing,then release the 2 buttons on right hand side.Now the first function button by the on/off button you will need to press until the light above the button reaches the 9th or 10th position this will give you a read out in the display.
E10 = low water press.
E20 = pump or filter.
E30 = press. switch or heater faults.
E40 = Door swich.
E50 = motor.
Some of these numbers can vary there are more but those are the most common.After checking codes switch off machine then back on twice to reset.
Hope this helps.
