I ALREADY TRIED BUT REMAINS THE SAME

  • Anonymous Jan 28, 2010

THINKING IT MIGHT HAVE SOME SETTINGS PREVIOUSLY DONE AND SINCE I DONT HAVE THE REMOTE CONTROL

  • Anonymous Jan 28, 2010

TRIED SOME BUT THE THING IS LIKE YOU SAID IT MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE SOUNDCARD DRIVERS, BUT I DONT HAVE SCHEMATIC NEITHER THE REMOTE TO ADJUST THE OSD SETTINGS.

  • Anonymous Jan 28, 2010

IF THE PROBLEM IS IN SOUNDCARD DRIVERS WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO,FM SOUND OK AND USING COAXIAL DIGITAL INPUTS OR 5.1 INPUT ARE THE SAME OK LEVELS, IF DRIVERS BAD WOULDNT IT BE THE SAME FOR ALL OR EACH INPUT HAVE DIFFERENT DRIVERS.

Check and increase the volume level of the CD/TAPE/Video player. Also check whether the input cables are properly inserted.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To reset the speaker unplug the system for more than 5 minutes and after that test the speaker using another device. You can plug one end of a RCA female to Mini-plug male adaptor into the headphone output jack of devices like a CD player or MP3 player. Now plug the other into either ‘line in’ RCA jacks on the sub to determine if the problem is with the speaker or the soundcard drivers.

If still the issue is not resolved, then you’ll need to perform the Direct CD Test for speaker to check whether the problem is a simple cable or level-setting. Use a different set of RCA connector cables and then connect the analog audio out from a CD player or DVD player directly into the speaker's LINE IN connections. Then, turn the volume level on the speaker down to the lowest. While playing a CD, raise the volume level on the speaker and now you should hear the bass portion from the source material. If still the issue persists, then the issue may be a blown woofer or sub amplifier. If the speaker functions correctly, then the issue may be with a cable, the receiver and/or a level setting.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Why will Amp not produce sound unless the input and output are patched together

A typical stereo receiver / amp consists of switching low level input signals (CD, DVD, Phono, DAT, etc.), processing them and then output to the amplifier (low level) input for amplification to levels needed to drive speakers. The low level signals would barely be audible via an earphone, so they need to be boosted significantly in order to drive speakers.

Some amps provide jumpers to insert into the phono jacks on the rear of the amp to bridge the processed low level output signals into the low level amplifier input. You could install a Y cable here to feed two amplifiers - or - connect a tape recorder's "REC L+R" to the low level output and the "PLAY L+R" to the low level amp input so that you'd hear the actual audio as it had been recorded on the tape.

If you remove the jumpers (or tape recorder if used instead), there is no way for the low level audio to get into the amp's low level inputs for amplification.

Im new with the use of the record player since im tired of MP3's. i bought a Numark TTusb turntable connected everything, but the sound is low. i have to crank the volume to the max, and only get low...

A turntable use a magnetic cartridge and its output is only 5 to 10 millivolts.A moving coil cartridge is even lower,.2 to .5 millivolts(thats 1/2000 of a volt)in contrast, a mp3 puts out a 300 to 900 mv signal..so does a CD player. Your turntable does not have enough signal. You need to get an amplifier that has a phono input. Years ago, radio shack used to sell phono preamps that could plug into a tape or cd input. The other option is to buy a used mixer that has a phono input. The mixer output can drive the cd input easily,as the max output from a mixer is 1.5 volts to 2 volts.

How many watts is it

http://www.kenwoodusa.com/UserFiles/File/Global/Consumer/Manuals/kac528.pdf

Page 7 of the manual gives you all the different configurations of this amp, and it's MAX power. FYI; Kenwood rates their amps at MAX power, not clean. Hope this helps.

Low to no volume output from Integra DTR-5.2 receiver

most higher end integra's have a input level adjusment or input selection for each and every input. Perhaps you are not on the correct input, go to onscreen programming and check out the input level and input select - also try the tape in another input like tape 2 or cd. It will not hurt the receiver for a test. Also, if you are using the cheap cables from the manufacturer - try a pair of cables that you know work or go by some. BTW, you don't need to spend $40 for cables order them online through amazon or other store. Gold / sliver plated oxygen free are best.

No signal from sub connected to NAD T760 in test mode.

Try using front pre out to the sub from the receiver. the crossover is in the sub anyway. If this works change your settings on the receiver and test again. If sub is still inop, could be an internal issue with the sub amp. Does your sub amp have an on/auto/off switch or light? check that as well. Hope this helps, if you need further assistance, send a reply and I'll help some more

Sonance 275 no getting sound to speakers

The Sonamp 275 has Signal LEDs on the front panel, above the Volume pots. If signal is present at the RCA inputs, the Signal LEDs will be blinking.
Most likely, there isn't any line level audio signal coming from the receiver. Hook RCAs to Tape Output or MD output and check system using the Tuner which is an analog signal.

Can I connect a power amp to this unit?

If your 2100ES has a selectable INPUT AND OUTPUT and if you're intending to send all signal to the power amp, i.e. not bi-wiring or using the 2100ES to run mid-range or treble then you simply send Left & Right audio (White & Red cable) from a 2100ES output, probably AUX OUT ( it doesn't really matter apart from Phono on some units) straight to the power amp on AUX IN.
We should be just dealing with audio here, so connect the NAD audio output to CD or DVD IN. Select CD or DVD IN on 2100ES input switch and switch output to AUX OUT (whatever you decided goes to the power amp) on the 2100ES. Turn power amp to AUX IN and it will now get an audio signal from the 2100ES for amplification.
Speakers connect to the power amp as a normal amp, so pos and neg etc. The 2100ES now only acts as a signal feed, the power amp does all the work.

So, summary - switch on the NAD, press play - video goes separately and audio goes to the 2100ES. Turn 2100ES to INPUT for NAD. Turn 2100ES to OUTPUT allocated for power amp. Turn INPUT on power amp to allocation for 2100ES.

Turn it up!

NAD T760

You should connect the RCA connectors from your turntable into the phono input of the preamp. Also, make sure you have the grounding wire from the TT connected to the grounding on the preamp (if you do not have a grounding point, then just connect it to one of the screws on the preamp). Then connect the output from the preamp to either the Tape or the CD points on the T760. On the front panel press tape monitor and you're done.

Check and let me know how it goes. My set up's working fine except for clarity, which still needs to be perfected. I'm using a normal step-up phono stage.
