Power is on, bucket full light is flashing (it is not full) and % humidity shows as 01%. It was set for 55%. I cannot change the % above 01%. I cleaned the filter....no good. I turned it off and then on again and the humidity % briefly showed 55%, unit came on, then a second later turned off and display goes back to 1% and bucket full light starts flashing??????????
I posted an extended answer to this problem with part replacement info and pictorial. Why hasn't this solution been posted???

Ok Guy here goes. I guess my post was swallowed by one of the pay for my answer guys. Here is a repeat of my original post.
I looked at all the requests for an answer to this problem ( which was exactly the problem that I had) and decided if I found the answer I would most definitly post it. After pricing and securing a new PCB assy, I still had the same problem I then bought, from Sears a Sensor Assy (6877A30013R) and that solved the problem
This repair requires a full disassembly of the unit faceplate, back plate and cover. Take it step by step and note original position of wiring as you replace the old with the new. Total cost w/s/h $17.83
and, for me, about 1.75 hrs.

I also had the same problem and symptoms. Busket switch O.K.,Restart w/flash of higher humidity setting followed in two or three seconds by shutdown and the number 01 in the humidity display. Thanks to all for your multiple posts which gave me information and confidence to replace the "Sensor Assembly" This has fixed the problem! Pay close attention to how the edges of the main metal case hook onto the base and inner plastic framework or things will not line up.

I had the same problem with my unit. Ordered the Sensor Assembly from Sears and had it fixed in about an hour. It honestly took longer to get the covers off than it did to swap out the sensor, of course that was after 2 days of trying to figure out what the problem was. Thanks for the post, saved me a ton of time and money.
I have this same problem and would be interested in a possible solution
ronniev1 I would love to see your response!!! I have now replaced the main PCB and display PCB with no luck. If you would email be direclty your response that woudl be great. [email protected]
