The settings on the print driver and the machine do not match.

  1. ress the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel. 'Machine Setup' will be displayed on the Display Screen.

    M20/Ms0i WorkCentre display

  2. Press the [Enter] button.
  3. Press the [Left] or [Right] arrow button until the required paper tray is displayed; either [Tray 1 Size], [Tray 2 Size], or [Bypass Size].
  4. Press the [Enter] button.
  5. Press the [Left] or [Right] arrow button until the paper size loaded in the paper tray is displayed.
  6. Press the [Enter] button to save the setting.
  7. Press the [Stop] button to return to the Standby mode.

    Then make sure the paper tray type and size are correct on your print driver properties.

Display says paper size mismatch.
Check the paper trays, they have a slide movement on them
at the back of the tray their might be some tabs to move for the right positions of the paper size,
Check the reports menu button on the console, make sure the trays say it has the right paper installed for that tray. Each tray has to be told what type of paper it holds.
The machines needs to be configured in the settings menus.

I am sure you will find one of the tray settings to be incorrect.
If not, click on the printers on your computer, Right click the 4118 and look in the printer properties. One of those settings may be off.
More likely is that the machine settings have changed for whatever reason.

Paper size mismatch is appearing on the screen
if that is when your printing you have to check and be sure the paper tray size is set correctly. You press the machine status button and make sure, tray 1, 2 and the bypass are set to the proper size paper.

Paper size mismatch
If the paper supply trays have movable edge guides, make sure the guides are against the paper, also insure the paper is oriented the same a s the print job or copy require.

The tray itself should have tabs on the side telling the type of paper look at those and see if there is anything broken off.
