Sansui vrdvd4001 A turns off the Television signal

Sansui Model: VRDVD4001A, S/N 056140602060A with MFG date of 6-04, turns off the Television signal at exactly 6:00 pm for 1-2 minutes, then turns it back on, same channel. It leaves a blank screen, no noise or snowstorm, just a dark screen. If you advance the clock on the VCR to be 6:00 pm (trick it) it will turn the signal off when the VCR clock says it is 6:00 PM, then turn back on in 1-2 minutes. This doesn't happen at any other time on the clock.
