Problem could be with your motor, timer, or lid switch. The front panel is tabbed you can remove it with a paint scraper. sounds like you have already removed it. You can cut the two wires to your lid switch at the top right its magnetic and bypass them to eliminate the lid switch. Other than that you would have to get the schematic from behind the control panel and check for proper 120v. down to the motor windings. the new motor will come as a rework and wiring must be done if you have proper voltage down to the motor. It will come with a new capacitor so you will need to read the instructions carefully. In my opinion if its a bad motor I would junk the machine and buy a whirlpool direct drive.
