Sounds like the clothing is creating too much pressure on the door and giving you a door lock error. Unplug the wash machine and wait a few minutes, then, while pushing in on the door to overcome the pressure caused by the stuck article of clothing, have someone plug the unit back in. If you've done it right and pushed hard enough, the latch should unlatch.
you will have a flap on the bottom right hand side flip it down and get your self a towel and a bowl and a saucer put the saucer just under the pump you will need to start to unscrew the pump screw slowly and close it so you can keep emptying the saucer in to the bowl ok onece all water is out of the pump you can open the door ok please make sure the machine is swicth off be for doing any thing ok
Check out the door switch to make sure that it closes when you latch the front door. If it does not close the machine will be inoperative - safety measure.
Hello there and thank you for chosing fixya Here is a few things to check before you do a manual opening of the door You may have already done these steps but please try this again in this order ok?
Check to see if the "Add a
Garment" light is lit on the Duet's display. The light will only be on
during the first eight minutes of a washer cycle, when the function is
usable. Press the "Pause/Cancel" button once to pause the washing cycle and unlock the door.Press the Press the "Pause/Cancel" button twice to cancel the wash cycle if the
"Add a Garment" light is not illuminated. THIS IS A BIGGIE HERE (Wait for the water to drain.
The door unlocks once enough water has drained to enable you to safely
open the washer door NOW IF THESE STILL DO NOT WORK THEN HERE IS HOW TO MANUALLY OPEN THE DOOR UNPLUG THE MACHINE Remove the three screws securing the lower toe panel to the washing
machine. The lower toe panel is the small rectangular panel underneath
the washer's front door. Pull the panel off the washer once the three
screws are removed.Reach up into the front panel of the washer. Feel for the teardrop-shaped tab in the washer's door latch assembly.Pull down on the tab until you hear a click. The click is the sound of the door unlocking.
Hi, The problem is due to faulty door switch . If the switch is bad, washer will remained lock and the washer won't run. Try unplugging it for an hour, press and hold start button for 5 seconds, release, wait 10 minutes, and plug back in. This method resets the washer and unlocks your door. Thank you !!
You can try either prying the door open and then replacig the door switch which is probably what caused the problem in the first place. Or try unplugging the machine for several hours, press and hold power button for a few seconds, wait half hour more, plug back in to see if it resets itself.
