Downloading movies i have taken movies with my camera but when i put them on my computer they wont play i need to know what i need to put on my computer so that they will play

In general, no. Most cameras are designed not to play videos or show stills taken by other cameras or edited on a computer. This is to avoid any potential problems with resolution, frame rates, color spaces, etc.

Use a separate card reader to download your pics to a computer...then, format the card in the camera.

you should be able t take the card out of camera and put it into your computer (if you have a crad reader) if you dont you can purchase on and it hooks to your computer with a usb cable and then you can put them on your camera.or just watch them and leave them on your card.

If your computer recognizes a disc in the drive and operates normally, Id assume you would need a DVD player or codec to be able to actually watch the DVD. PowerDVD rings a bell.
Have you tired that? I know Windows Media Player by default wont let you watch a movie without first downloading a codec.

First check sound settings on control panel, ensure volume is not at minimum and computer audio is not muted. Test playing a CD.

this is usually due to Media Player or whatever player you use on your pc, not having the right codecs to decompress sound from camera file.

Usually you sort it out upgrading media player, you can download update from links below.

I have an A540, so I do not know much about the A560, but try putting the SD card in a card reader connected to your computer rather than using the USB output on the camera. You could also check if the computer's sound is functioning properly by attempting to play back a CD on it.

It sounds like you need to download the codec to be able to play back the video. It'll be xVid or something like that. I'm not entirely sure what you need, but it definitely sounds like a missing codec.

there's nothing wrong with your camera...u just need some codecs installed in your computer to playback some viedos...try install Ace Mega Codecs Pack 6...here's the link:

Movies shot on FUJI's digital cameras are recorded in Motion JPEG format and can be played back using QuickTime version 3.0 or later. (You can download QuickTime from the Apple Computer site).
