I have lost my installation cd, and i want to connect my printer to my pc.

reinstall the driver to get the printer to get it to work with your pc again

No matter, just plug the power of the printer-on and connect the printer to your pc. The OS will automatically check and if the driver is not present in the OS, it'll ask for an option (either insert a CD/DVD or search on internet). Connect your internet and Select on search on internet. It'll search by its own and will be pointed to you.

DONT HAVE CD FOR INSTAL THE PRINTER C4480

If you do not have the software, you need to download the software from one of the following locations:

Canon USA:DRIVER & DOWNLOADS

After downloading is finished, unplug the printer USB and run the software that you downloaded.
The software installer will tell you when to connect USB.

1)right click the my computer icon
2)click properties and then click hardware n go to device manager.
3)uninstall all usb ports and then scan for hardware changes
4)ur pc will detect your printer and ask for printer drivers
5)re load drivers and your pc will communicate with your printer
6)for reloding install the cd follow the instructions on the screen and click next
7)restart when the printer is loded.connect the wires and cords properly.
