CAMERA TRANSFERS STILLS BUT FAILS TO TRANSFER VIDEO

My NV-MX500B has worked fine for three years but suddenly it refuses to send (moving) video to my PC or laptop. I can transfer still images from the video on the camcorder with no difficulty but when I attempt to transfer moving video I get an error message telling me I am not properly connected. I have performed a complete system recovery and reinstalled the software but it makes no difference.

Panasonic NV-MX 500B stored for a year now won't work
If you didn't used it for long time as 1year you must have to replace a new battery with clened battery connectors.1st you should' ve try to operated it with the charger.If it doesn't work still,high current drain during the first attempt caussed broken semiconductor fuse in side the main P.C.B.Some repairmen used to replace M.P.C.B. without repairing it.
that's may be cost a lot for you.
