Problems with BARRICADE SMC2804WBRP-G not detecting and connecting with Windows Vista Home Basic… Ever since I upgraded to Vista, my SMC cannot detect and connect with my desktop (HP Model a6115.pt). I did not have this problem with XP earlier. I have to either switch the SMC off/on or unplug/replug the RJ-45 connector for it to detect and connect with the computer and then the Internet. Is there an incompatibility between SMC and Vista? Is there a firmware upgrade available for SMC (current runtime code version: v2.08 (Mar 9 2005 14:47:15)) to solve this problem? Do I have to recycle this router…? Please help.
I also have problems with this routher. Vista connects ok with out WIFI security enable but once i enable it and update the computer with this security it does not connect.

On my Dell M1530 the same problem: No WPA TKIP connection
