Can not scan

I can not scan with my HP 1315 psc all-in-one. All other functions work fine, the printer copies and prints correctly. I am LAN networked to two ther printers, a Kyocera Mita and a Laserjet. The 1315 is set as my default. Nothing happens at all - no movement in the mechanism, no sound, no error message. Nothing.

With some of the HP all-In-One printers, the scan function will only work once the printer software (not just the drivers) have been installed on the connect machine.

WILL NOT COPY

Dear, after changing the cartridge, printer print a test print. OKAY. Take that test print and put it on the scanner (printed area should on the side of mirror) then press "scan" button on your printer "bottom left". When the light stop fluctuating. Keep out the paper from the scanner. After this Printer will work properly
