If you have a song that will NOT erase, remove all the songs you have on the unit you wish to save. Disconnect from the computer and Format the unit using the built in menu.
Reconnect to the computer and reload all your songs.
The unit should now be 'pristine'.
An occasional format of an MP3 player is always a good idea. It fixes all kinds of weird problems. Once every six months should be often enough.

How do i delete songs of my i pod

The first way is uncheck the songs you want to delete on iTunes and then sync iTunes with ipod again, then the songs you want to delete will lose from iPod.

The second way is use leawo iTransfer to delete songs from iPod, the way is connect iPod to leawo iTransfer, then right click on the music you want to delete from iPod on leawo iTransfer to choose "Delete", then the music will be deleted soon. However, this tool can only work on Windows computer.

Deleting songs from iphone

you should be able to go into itunes and delete the songs, then sync your iphone again. If that doesn't help then I would go into the apple store and see why not. you can also just call apple for support for free if you are an at&t subscriber good luck

Erasing songs, unknown amount of storage.

To delete songs from your device follow the steps below
You have to make sure that the device is on MSC mode...then make sure your device is plug in to the computer..Then go to programs - accesories - windows explorer, find the SanDisk in my computer, go to media, music and delete them from there.
Either under sync panel in your windows media player it will show your music when it's connected. just click the plus signs for what song you need to get rid of, right click and click delete.
To format it..on your device..go under..menu, setting and there should be a format option option there..And its depend on the size of the songs...it could take about 50 music..once again it depends on the size of the music...
let me know if that doenst work for you...
Hope this helps

HOW ERASE

You can delete the songs by highlighting all of them in Windows Media Player, or you can go to Start --> All Programs --> Philips Digital Audio Player or Philips Device Manager --> open Philips Device Manager, and select "Repair" - this will have the side effect of erasing all of your songs safely.
Good luck!

Sansa having problem with sync

Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx
