Blue power light comes on but no picture. it used to come back on by turning on and off... please advise

Look for cold solder joints in the power supply, more likely the 24vdc for the backlights is not working.

i also have a 19" westinghouse monitor the screen on mine goes black i just turn the monitor of then back on the problem is it's overheating and from what i understand it's caused by faulty or worn capacitors the ones that are bad are vented on top so it's easy to tell the bad ones. you can see what they look like on line!

My computer turns on, the green light is on and the orange light is blinking but screen doesn't show anything

I may be in low-power mode. Try jiggling the mouse, pushing enter on the keyboard a couple times and just pushing the power button once.

If none of those work push and HOLD down the power button for about 10 seconds and the computer should shut off.

As an absolute last resort pull the power plug, leave it out a few seconds then plug it back in and power it on.

One of these methods should at least get the screen back up.

Push button on and you here a click like the power supply wants to start but does not come on.

Power board is bad and might have bad caps on it. Bring it to an electronics place and see if its something to where they can repair the power board, if they can't and they would have to replace it then get a new monitor at that point cause a new monitor would be cheaper.

Television keeps going off

There is a sleep monitor that sends the set to sleep after a designated time. It sounds like you may have inadvertently turned it on and set it for about 10 minutes.
You can view an online user's guide for this tv here: http://www.westinghousedigital.com./pdf/60_User_Manual.pdf if it's a model LCM22-w2 or
here: http://www.westinghousedigital.com./pdf/108_User_Manual.pdf if it's model LCM22-w3

Please pick one and use the instructions to guide you to the On Screen Display and adjust your sleep settings. (try pg 14)

I hope this leads you in the right direction.

If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take a moment to kindly rate this post....thanks!

MAG 780 LCD Monitor takes 10 minutes to come on when cold.

power supply is going in it. if you know of someone technically inclined have them check for bad capacitors in the power supply. this is typical of one that is dryed out and not letting the power supply start up as fast as it should. if it is just capacitors then it should not be an expensive fix, but don't ignore it as other parts will be stressed and fail making it much more costly.

Monitor power light is blinking .but monitor is not displaying anything after 4 hr monitor blinking light is become slow and when restart the monitor is displaying after 4 hr please help me i have a 20.1...

If there is a flashing led on front of the monitor, that indicates a fault condition.

The flashing light indicates a diagnostic state called protection.
When the Monitor goes on protection there are only two possible causes.

1 The internal circuits are jammed because of electrostatic charges accumulating on capacitors, or because of a wrong voltage read by the main chip on your monitor controller board. this started the protection circuit.

2 The protection circuit detected a wrong voltage or a broken contact, identified an internal fault and kicked in , starting the flashing light.

If you are in situation one, then the monitor will reset just unplugging power cord for one or two hours, sometimes even minutes.

If you are in situation 2 , then there is an internal fault.

Common faults that can occurr suddenly are a blown capacitor on power board, the inverter board powering up backlight lamp has blown, or a fault on main lcd controller board.
check also the video cable, if the cable is shorting, or the connector is bad, you can get same flashing state because of the video cable.

Check connectors, try moving the video cable, and if the cable is not built in, then also try a replacement cable.

If under warranty contact manufacturer to find out a service point.

If you want to repair at your own expenses, just locate any good qualified repairer.
