Your asking the wrong questions. The cost for the fuel pump is what it is. Shop around to get the best price. Rockauto for example. Second are you doing the repair or a shop. Replace fuel filter also. Next how is the car is it worth 300or 400 dollars or is it worth 2000. Can you afford to buy a new car or even a 1000 dollar car and pay to get it fixed. 300 hundred to fix the fuel pump is nothing when you think buying a replacement car for thousands. You do the repair yourself you only paying for parts not labor

Please try to charge the batteries. Don't use AA manganese (Zinc-Carbon) or NiCd rechargeable batteries. Even alkaline batteries, don't have the same capacity as the NiMH rechargeable batteries.
Considering the price of a new camera with the same possibilities, you could buy one for I think around $300. Diagnose in a repair shop could be between 50 an 100. If you could buy a lens it could cost anything between 10 and 400 dollar and to put it in could cost between 50 and 100 dollars.
My advice, if the batteries don't change a thing after charging, buy a new camera. The last 5 or 6 years the technology has improved immense. and the price of the camera's have dropped. (will drop even more after the holy days.

That should be a fairly simple job, if the cylinder wall is not scored. Pulling the head and cylinder is fairly easy and getting the piston off the rod is not hard either. You may want to go with an oversized piston and rings and then have the cylinder machined for that size piston.

It is going to come down to what it is worth to you. Prices really vary, do a lot of homework before you buy. You might find one that is lets say 50.00 dollars (comes with no goodies) -- But, you find another one that is 60.00 dollars and comes with all kinds of accessories. The 10.00 dollars would be well worth it. Remember this is just my opinion -- do your homework looking for good package prices. They all vary from place to place.
