Your plasma cover screen should be glass, not plastic. I have no knowledge of Panasonic or any other manufacture that made a plasma TV with plastic....all plasma TV's have a glass cover. Clean the surface with a rubbing alcohol solution and a cotton ball.

My lg plasma tv get this smaal red dots over the whole screensome times this red dots are gone and then it returnswhat is the problem it is 2 and a half years old

This is a common fault on all LG sets with few people offering any solutions. I can offer a solution that could remove 95% if not 100% of the dots.
Remove the back of the set, there are about 40 screws. On the left hand side on a circuit board you will see 3 or 4 blue plastic boxes with yellow screw adjusters in them. The only 2 you are interested in are VR3 "setup" and VR2 "setdn". Mark the location with a marker pen so that you know where the factory settings were. Then turn VR3 fully clockwise. If this does not get rid completely do the same with VR2. This worked for me today, I was about to throw the TV away but I now have a 95% improved screen, sharper and more vibrant picture and saved hundreds. Hope it works.

MY 3 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER HAS JUST SCRATCHED MY SONY BRAVIA TV WITH A MAGNA DOODLE PEN. HOW CAN I GET RID OF THE SCRATCHES?

Clean the surface of the LCD screen with a barely damp cloth.
  • Step 2 Dry the screen with a soft, clean cloth.
  • Step 3 Rub a generous amount of petroleum jelly into the scratch using a cotton swab. The petroleum jelly should fill in the scratch and remain there.
  • Step 4 Immediately wipe the excess petroleum jelly off of the screen with a soft cloth being careful to leave some petroleum jelly inside the scratch to act as a patch or filler.

  • Step 4 Immediately wipe the excess petroleum jelly off of the screen with a soft cloth being careful to leave some petroleum jelly inside the scratch to act as a patch or filler.

  • This scratch repair method is effective because of optical density. The optical density of petroleum jelly matches the plastic, LCD screen coating more closely than that of air.
  • To avoid future scratches or gouges, you might consider purchasing a LCD screen protector. These screen protectors are generally made of a thin, plastic film and affix to the screen without adhesives. Not only can they protect against scratches, but they also keep the screen free of dirt, oil and dust while simultaneously reducing glare.
  • When wiping the screen as described Step 4, avoid pressing too hard or you will inadvertently remove the petroleum jelly from inside the scratch.
  • Using petroleum jelly to fill a scratch on your LCD screen could void your screen's warranty. If you are concerned about warranty issues, consult your user's manual for more information.
