TV is not powering up and red light keeps flashing
I had the same red blinking led problem on my Toshiba Theaterview tv. I resolved by:
- Unplugging the tv.
- Press several times (3 or 4 times) the tv Power button.
- Plug the tv back in and press the Power button once to turn the tv on....tv worked!!!
I've had the problem before and tried unplugging the tv for a couple of days and that had also worked, but I this recent solution seems to be faster.

no picture or sound red power button blinking constantly
Same problem. Screen went black, the power button just blinks and the tv will not turn on period.
same problem. when remote power button is pressed you here the click that goes on , then another click right after, with the red blinking red light on tv. Might be that the tuner went out. Mine was acting up with a fuzzy picture everynow and then. Thought it was the cable connection. Please let me know if anyone knows.. Thanks!

I had the same problem: no picture, the red power light flashes off and on, can't turn tv off. I did some searches and found what sounded like the same problem and they said I needed a part and that required professional installation. I turned it off and unplugged it... and today, 2 months later,
I decided to either get rid of it or get it fixed - I plugged it in and I saw video 1 so I hooked it up to satellite and it's working...
