My Janome memorycraft 4900 QC keeps flashing Error 5

My Janome memorycraft 4900 QC sewing machine keeps flashing up Error 5 keeps on the screen and the mechanism locks. It was working fine until yesterday. Any ideas?

its the sensor on the bobinwinder who are loose. If you are handy. you can remove the top cover of the machine.
And on the left side of the bobinwinder you will find a micro switch. Probably you have to tighten the screw on it..

Maybe the bobbin winder is in the the on position. Push it to the off position.

I have an E1 error on my 4900 QC. Its been unpluged for days but this error still appears please can you help thank you
An E1 error on Janome machines usually indicates a blown fuse on the main board, possibly the result of an overload. You won't be able to fix this yourself but the mechanic at your nearest Janome sewing centre should be able to provide and fit a new fuse. Might be a good opportunity to have it serviced at the same time.
