Sony rdr-vx525 video cassette/dvd recorder.

Un-plug the Power Supply Cord and then plug it back into the outlet sock. The recorder will go back to it's Factory Setting and return unit to it's Default Mode, is DVD-1.....!

On your remote Press the System Menu botton when open scroll down to Setup, press Enter, scroll down to Video and press enter another menu will open. Scroll down to Personal and press enter and play with settings while watching the Video you want to make changes to, until you are Satisfied__!

Please clean your lens with lens cleaner. Replace the lens if needed. If still problem , please repair the circuit board. Regards

what happened was that you probably chose a disc speed on the DVD that was too fast or slow for the dvd players that you are putting it in to. Try re recording it but when under the DVD section, on your remote, choose REC Mode till it says SP. That one should work on just about any dvd player. I had the same problem with mine.
