Picture problems we bought a proscan lcd 1080 it picture looked really good at the store but when we hooked it up at home it does not look nothing like at the store are we missing a cable because i'm thinking of taking it back . I need help please

You need to hook this set up to viewable source to verify if there is a defect.

There are a number of possible differences which is why one is a A and the other a B model.

That symptom may cause by the main board or t-con board, I suggest you do software up grade first.

I am assuming your set is new. Ask for it to be serviced under warranty. This sounds like your set is defective for some reason.
LCD TV sets are known for their exceptional sharpness and performance when having a good quality signal source, and especially with an HD programs.

the tv models in store are usually have samples from blueray dvds. standard dvd players will look fuzzy because it only submits standard dvd picture quality. you can try an upvert dvd player. tho i cant promise picture quality. i have an xbox 360 that upverts the quality. if you get a bluray player i recommend hdmi wires. if you get upvert dvd player and it has an hd outlet red, blue, green wires it might work. i havent tried one myself. if you dont want to spend money on bluray dvds. i recommend an xbox console. it upverts dvds through hdmi or hd red, blue, green wires

There is no power coming from the step down transformer

bought 26 in pro scan tv can't figure out how to connect dvd player,craziest thing i've ever seen.please help

This depends on whether you have digital cable box or not. If you have a Digi Cable Box look for the red/white RCA output and connect this via RCA cable to the Red/White Audio input on your surround.

If just Basic Cable look for a red/white audio output on the back of your televison. connect this to the Red/white in on your surround. Could be called tv in or auxillary.

1st u need to covert stereo cable with stereo conversion pin which avelieible in electronic consumer store after u got this cable u able to connect ur speakers directly to play station or a tv
