I cannot get my mac to print borderless prints with my new ip4500. my windows laptop works perfectly but the mac, from iphoto prints A4 with borders and A5 with hugely irregular borders. the canon easy-photo ex doesnt recognise my photos in iPhoto either-they are all grey-ed out. I had tried loading latest drivers to no avail
Hi,
Have you tried using different software for your printing.
Something that will give you more scope and resolution Options.
Such As Paint Shop Pro et,c. Or try and locate the default program for the hardware. Also try opening and re-saving the photos in a different Format i.e J-peg Or Bitmap. The canon is probably used to it,s own specific format. Finally is to check the paper-scaling, you,ll have to do various test prints at allocated sizes, to ensure the printers doing the scaling that it should be.
Hope this is helpful for you.

I have tried using adobe photoshop with the same results, I have also contacted Canon for the latest driver and Apple support to no avail. I am unable to save photos from iPhoto under a different filename for some reason but they are .JPEG files anyway. ANy other thoughts? I think it must be down to incorrect printer driver from Canon for Leopard.
I can´t print a picture without the border. The borderless section is all greyed-out.
What can I do?
