Cannot erase ZOOM ERROR from my fuji finepix Z2
With the internally zooming lens on the Z2, there's no external access to any zoom mechanisms. A "zoom error" is not eraseable until the problem has been rectified. My guess is that the camera has taken some sort of impact, which often dislodges the track in which the lens travels. Not much you can do, yourself, other than a few well-placed "taps" to realign things. Next step is to have it serviced by Fuji, but given the age of the camera, it's likely not cost effective, sorry to say.
I have a Fujifilm Finepix Z2 camera and whenever I start up my camera it starts beeping and then a message pops up saying it has a 'zoom error' and prevents me from taking photos. What do I do?
i have the exact same problem. the zoom will come out partly and then it will say "zoom error" and not let me take a photo. the shutter wont even open, but if i force it open, i can take a picture. i dont get it. Anyone out there know how to help?
When I turn on my F20 I get a "zoom error" message. Any ideas out there
FinePix F20 - zoom error - can it be solved or just buy another more reliable camera!
