I HAVE A SAMSUNG 32 INCH LCD TV MODEL NUMBER "LE32R73BDX"
I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT IT NEEDS A MASTER RESET.

HOW DO YOU DO I MASTER RESET?

    Me too. How frustrating is this! Why does there have to be a stupid esoteric code that only the "engineers" have access to when all we want to do is a bloody reset!!

* With the TV in standby, press the {INFO} {MENU} {MUTE} {POWER} buttons on the remote.
* The TV will turn On with the Service Menu displayed.
go to reset
* Press the {POWER} button to exit the Service Menu.

    Thanks for your help!! I had the same problem just after the Digital switchover - Samsung talked me through the procedure but I forgot the sequence. I had the problem again a couple of weeks ago after disconnecting the TV from everything during some decorating and it all went Pete Tong, so with your help I now have my tv back

    Worked. After a few months the default picture setting kept automatically moving from "Movie" (where normal programmes actually looked ok) to "Dynamic" where everything looked like an 80's computer game. Now I've set it back to "Movie" it hasn't automatically changed back yet, at least in last hour. Thanks

    Hey...this really helped with my dtv but I still have 'MODE NOT SUPPORTED' when I link anything hdmi or scart into the back?? any suggestions??

Master reset put on standby then press info, menu, mute and power in 2 seconds wait 1 min then turn on

It also works for Samsung LCD LE37S7. After selecting RESET also pless right on the menu navigation buttons to validate, and wait for the TV to turn off.

How do I reset my tv to factory settings. samsung 32 inch LA32R81WDx/xSA
On a different Samsung TV, there is a Picture Reset in the Picture Menu on the OSD. (It's at the bottom of the list.) Similarly the sound reset is in the Sound menu. There is no global reset. (If your Samsung TV's OSD menus are different try under the Support menu.)

23 inch lcd tv by dell wont turn on as if no power
if this is a DELL W3201C read this.

Have the same model and same problem
probably It is a bad inverter board, in my case one of the 16 transformers is burnt out on the inverter board. still trying to find a replacement component. if not replacing the board is the only option or getting the inverter board repaired.

by the way, this TV has a Samsung panel: model LTA320W2-L03. so it needs parts for a Samsong not a DELL.
DELL does not manufacture or fix them becuase they don't make them
