I have tried to pair up 2 different Blue tooth headsets with my LG Xenon phone and I get the password mismatched message with both. Motorola H390 and Plantronics 3XX. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? My phone recognizes both, but when I type in the 0000 it says password mismatched.

If you are asking for the bluetooth pairing pin try 0000

most manufactures of blue tooth devices use a 4 digit pass or pin pairing code they are as follows 0000,1234,1111 or 9999 so if you can get you phone to pair it will ask for a pin or pass code try these i hope this helps

Hi,it all depends. When you want to connect a blue tooth to a phone, You will need to switch on the blue tooth device and the phones blue tooth you are pairing with.

When pairing both device, you will ask for pairing code, You four digit numbers(default code(0000). and pair.

After pairing both device, you detected paired, you can now use the blue tooth device with your phone.

there are no special code for pairing Blue tooth device.
Normal codes used are any four digit, four numbers you want to use.(0000, 1234).

have you checked if the battery for the blue tooth is charged? And did you power the blue tooth device on, like wide that of the Nokia phone before you begin pairing?

If all the above are intact and the blue tooth is still not finding the phone, Then you have to test the blue tooth with another phone to be sure its not faulty.

missmatched password while pairing bluetooth devices means you have entered incorrect pass code.
usually the the device A you are searching with asked you to create a pass code when you are pairing device B. When connection is establishing, device B will ask you for the pass code you just created for pairing device A with device B. this pass code is different for each and everytime you connect to a device.

Be sure the the headset in in 'Pairing' mode.
When in pairing mode, the light should be flashing red and blue or have a steady blue.
The put most headsets in pairing mode, turn headset OFF, then hold the power button until it goes into pairing mode as discribed above.
Then you can discover it with your phone or PC. Pin (pass key) should be 0000 (4 Zeros) or try 1111, 1234, 9999

okay your passkey is usually the last four digits of your phone number with your other phone enter the same passkey.This should work if not let me know.

your phone probably is not capable of syncing into that kind of blue tooth, if not go see your cellphone dealers store they will help you.

With the H700 BT headsets the pairing mode is different from other BT headsets. to put it in pairing mode you first hold the talk button on the headset until the purple light comes on.Right after the purple light comes on you have to flip open the headset for it to stay in pairing mode. From there you continue through the phone. It will ask for a password; that will be "0000". then connect.
