My start button no longer works on Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6600SW0
It lights up but my start button no longer works. It lights up but will not start the machine. I have tried unplugging but the button feels weird it feels like something inside broke

Possible that the main controller unit is faulty. You need to confirm the voltage on the controller unit and the connectors to the panel. If there is no support from the controller then it can be faulty. This requires testing the board for the processor and the set voltages for the board to function which must be measured..
after you leveled the washer did you turn the locking nuts on the legs up against the bottom of the washer cabinet to keep the legs from vibrating back out of level?if you dont lock them they will change height during spin
it could be that or it could be the start button, you can check the button by adding a jumper in the wires that go to it,, this should be done as a check and not left that way,, for safety
do you see about 2-4 inches down a crease that runs all the way around the top?
there are 2 clips in the front you need to push in with a putty knife and lift the whole top up.
if you where to look at the very left corner and go about 5-6 inches in you will find the clips.
can be a pain.
make sure when you do lift the whole top that you hold the lid or it will crash into something.
