Im trying to find the code in order to use a phillips universal remote with my sony dvp-ns50P dvd player and have had no success doing so. any help or suggestions?

With the DVD player turned off(stand by), press:
TOP MENU
CLEAR
POWER

Choose option 2 and after option 4. Type:
12450 [press enter]
00000

The tray will open and close repetedly. Unplug the power cable and afterwards turn it on again.
Done! Your DVD is now multi-zone.

there is a problum with power supply normally in this condition main filter capaster is out of order please replace this & your dvd will ok

press stand by and press return button and enter button and then press stand by button on ur remote control.the player will be unlocked

unemployed and cant affoed to go to your site sorry will figure out another way.

If you have your model number for the Phillips remote, you should be able to locate it here. Hope this helps.

You need to convert avi files to dvd format before burning, otherwise the player won't recognize them. Google "avi to dvd" and you'll find a number of free or pay programs that will do the conversion for you.

My DVD player is Sony DVP-NS50P, it can not play some dics (not in USA). You can help to unlock it !

It works for NS50P, NS575 and the most models of the families NS50 e
NS500.

DVD will now be region Free.

U must be using an old tv with only PAL color system. DVDs are in different color coding. Try using a PAL converter it will solve ur problem
