I'm looking for the unlocking code which will enable me to play Region 2 DVDs on this Region 1 locked player

First, you need to let us know what region you are in before we give you a code. In the U.S. we are region 1. Foreign countries have different codes.

Unfortunately there isn't a code fore this, you can only play R1 DVD's on an R1 DVD Player and you can only play R2 DVD's on a R2 DVD Player. You can find DVD's that are R2, that is all you can do.

With your set on and without disc in the tray:

1. Press PLAY from your remote control
2. Press the following button sequence: 1590 2379 390
3. Press PLAY again

This will release the region verification in your player(region free). However, some DVDs (multi region in particular) will not play, since they require region detection from the player unit.
