Hi there i can 't get your these word." camera charger is blue, used battery and new,". Please let me know the battery is new or or its old? If its old then the battery life is finished. Thats why he can't store the power.

Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored for long periods in a partly charged or in a zero charge state. You need to replace this battery with a new one.
I would say that you need a new charger. Standard chargers that come with digital cameras will eventually deteriorate depending on how often you use it. However, it could also be a battery issue, as batteries eventually will die even if they are rechargeable. I would try the charger with a different battery and see if it works, and if not, then you will know that the problem is with the charger.
i have the same problem too. Mine is mju tough 6010 and it just beeps and switch off. The metal cover in front of the lens won't open. Mine is just 1 month old.
Link above leads you to the Stylus 850SW manual-see page 62. Please make sure that you are using Olympus Lithium Ion Battery only, as this is the only battery the camera is accepting. Using exhausted battery will make the camera to turn off.
If the problem still persist, kindly contact Olympus Help desk for more details.
Hi, as per your information your camera 2 years old but not used much. You buy a new battery 1st time when you charged you see the gree light. But camera not working. When you try to charge the battery again you seen the red light. Its mean your charger have a problem. So what you do now? Ok try these.
Remove the power connection of the charger. then fixed the battery there slowly & properly. After that plug on the charger again. If the same thing happens then unplug the charger & plug in in different point. Then see what showing. If again red light then wait 1 hours and waiting for green signal. If there is no green signal showing then visit a service center with your charger. Tell them your problem. They will fixed the charger for you. Don't worry your camera is ok.
Your new battery or your charger one of then damaged. Thanks & waiting for your feedback.
Try recharging the battery. If that doesn't work, try a new battery.
Use the supplied charger to charge the battery. If you've lost the charger, you can get an LI-41C charger from Olympus. You can also get LI-40B or LI-42B batteries from them.
I didn't have the time to find out what was the problem cause i needed the camera immediately so i bought a new battery and a new charger. Thanks for the help!!
