Virus removal took computer to best buy as it had extended warranty, after diagnois they found 19 virus, nothing else. Can I remove these myself? OR where can I take this for a reasonable amount best buy wants $140

Its a fake anti virus program. The best thing is to search google for fake antivirus removal tool. Run this and after that get yourself a good anti virus program with buit in spyware remover to keep this from happening again.

You can affected by virus. Whatever antivirus may be used first u want to buy a full pack i.e total internet protection. I am using kaspersky anti-virus for past 1 year. you better download or buy avast 4.8 home edition ! it is good . it gives your computer complete protection from viruses ,spy ware etc.the other way is to re- install the anti-virus(Norton) .give me high rating as i took time to answer your question..

Go to www.filehippo.com and download AVG Free 8.0 anti-virus (Best anti-virus in my opinion by far) and install it. Also get A-Squared Free at the same time. It will find and stop what's giving you this message. There's no need for any repair or for you to buy ANYTHING!
If your'e using Windows XP Sp.2 or Vista you will need to disconnect from the internet (just to be extra safe) and open your control panel and click on "security center" then go down to anti-virus and click on 'recommendations' and check the box about "I have anti-virus I'll monitor myself" before you can install the new programs. Just follow their instructions and you should never have this problem again.

Hi, viruses are quite easy to remove, and shouldnt cost you anything if done correctly.

uninstall any virus software you have, download this software and install it

update it and scan the whole system, it will pick them up and remove them, then once its took off as many as it can, uninstall this virus check and install a different one like this

do one more scan and your as good as new...

you dont have to change the virus checker the second time, but alot of virus checker dont always pick up them all so always better to scan with two different ones to make sure there all off..
