I have some problem with my AMANA BX20ML Model REFIGERATOR

Some one can help me? I have some problem with my refrigerator. It's an old model of Amana. Model no is BX20ML. Its freezer is not cooling enough. It is an energy saver model. The freezer has a dial out side to keep the required cooling. There is another switch to keep the freezer in energy saver position. My little baby girl moved the switch. I do not know which position the switch should be so that it should cool enough to freeze the stuff inside. Now the motor is running and cold air is coming out through the vent inside, But it is not freezing the food. Please tell me which position I should keep that enegry saver switch. Left side up arrow says ' reduces exterior cabinet moister' and Right side down arrow says ' energy saver' . Both sides have 3 positions from top to bottom. And there is only one switch for these setup. Please tell me which position I should keep this switch to get enough freezing temp.

You may have a bad condensor fan motor or paper may have gotten pulled under the fridge and jammed the fan blade. The energy switch will not help with cooling it only controls exterior moisture.

Wow
Ican not understand what you need.
So I am guessing here
Ice has built up on the evaporator coil stopping air flow to the food section.
Try manually defrosting the fridge. If this works then the auto defrost cycle has failed and you will need to get a technician to help you

The Amana refigerator I have stopped cooling. There is power to the unit, the lights work but the unit is not cooling. The unit clicks every few minutes.

Start capacitor, start relay, overload and windings in compressor need checked. When clicking like that the compressor is overheating and could damage the internal overload. Send model number so I may tell you the correct parts. I will be here if you need, Sea Breeze

NEED BACKPRESSURE ON AMANA REFIGERATOR

Domestic Amana
It would be 28k below the fridge temp. If the fridge was so at 4 degs
you would have minus 24 suction at 29kpa r12 or 14kpa on r134a

Most of the amanas work in a vacum so make sure you put your gauges on and off when the unit is off so you dont let air in.
