I have a recently purchased durabrand 13 inch tv and have noticed that the remote will not work and the channel numbers on the screen are now pink instead of the regular green color? You can only change the channel if you press the numbers and hit enter.
Pink means that the channels have been deleted from the channel list. go to menu>channel>add/delete and select the channels you want and change them back to green. or auto program you can do this without the remote by menu button>channel> +volume
The remote need to clean pcb board ..... the chroma section pcb need to resolder loose parts such as resistor, capacitor or transistor that you may see on it.....

Do you mean the gray CRT Durabrand from 2004? I had one of those exact ones myself recently with the remote and everything.
You need a remote control to go back to the regular channels if you're in Game or Video mode (like watching your DVD player); those inputs are entirely separate from the channels to the point that you can't use the channel left/right buttons to get out of there. In fact, before I got my remote, I couldn't even get INTO Game / Video mode; I had to use an RF modulator on channel 3. For the Durabrand 13", the remote unlocks much more out of the TV.
try 032 or 132 or 11034 or 694. These have all worked on various remotes including Dish Network remotes for the Durabrand DWT 1304 color 13" TV. Look at the Funai Corp codes and the Orion codes. Sometimes they work, Funai Corp makes Durabrand.
MENU ...... PICTURE ..... TURN GAME MODE ON ..... EXIT MENU ...... TURN TV TO CHANNEL 3 or 4. THIS WORKED FOR A GAMING SYSTEM AND MAY RESOLVE DVD CONCERNS ALSO.
I seem to be the only person on the net with the 3 digit Durabrand universal remote code which works for 13' and up Durabrand TV's and TV/DVD TV/VCR combos. The culprit is 3 digit code 189 for a Funai and Emerson. I only know this because I have like 4 of these TV's haha.
We broke our remote for the Durabrand 13 inch tv, bought a RCA universal remote and that did not work. Just bought the radio shack 3 in 1 remote for $7.99 and it had the codes for the Durabrand tv and it worked fine. Hope this helps.

You will need the original remote control I,m afraid. The original remote is the Durabrand HYF-23A. On the original remote, incase you do have one, is a button marked TV/AV. That is the button that changes between the TV and the Audio/video inputs. An original replacement remote can be purchaed HERE:
