My Panasonic SDR-H40 camcorder can't uploaad photos and videos to my PC. My Dad in the States didnt give me the software. i'm from the Philippines, thnx . is it downloadable thru the interneet?

Hi, the VideoCam software isn't compatible with Windows 7, but you can still copy videos and pictures to your computer and edit or view them with other software. Videos are saved by default as MPEG-2 files, and photos are saved as JPEG files -- both of these formats are recognized by a wide variety of programs. (For example, Microsoft's Picture Viewer, which comes with Windows, can display JPEGs, and Microsoft Office Picture Manager can edit them.)
