I need exact instructions on how to get some pictures I took on the internal memory downloaded or to a card. I have no manual or cord. I have a panasonic lumix DMC LZ 7. thank you for any assistance

you can directly insert your card to a card reader and transfer the pictures that way. autoplay will popup giving you options to either view or import your pictures to the computer if it detects it or you can manually open the drive representing your card in my computer folder (if using windows operating system) and manually copy and paste it to your desired folder.

I am using Windows 7. When I try to acquire from PC, the word "ACCESS" flashes on the DMC-FX8 camera screen continuously but the Lumix View Finder cannot find any pictures. How can I solve this...

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

Panasonic lumix camera fz20eb unable to upload pics to toshiba laptop with windows vista

You should be upload pictures using a USB cable even if you do not have the additional sofware. Once you plugged in your camera, it may take a few minutes for the computer to register a new device and you should be able to view pictures using the Vista popup or in my computer from the "new device"
