Check the drain hose for kinks and clear it from any clogging. If no clogging or kink is found, drain the water manually.
Remove the rear access panel to access the drain pump. Press the hose clamps and move it away from the pump. Remove the hoses from the pump and drain the remaining water from the tub drain hose into a shallow pan.
Lay the machine on its side on a cushioned surface to allow easy access and removal of the drive belt.
Remove the three screws securing the drain pump to the base of the machine. Check the pump impeller for any damage and clear it from any debris that may be preventing it to pump the water out. Replace the drain pump (part #35-6780) if the impeller is damaged. Secure the new drain pump to the base of the machine with the three screws and reinstall the drive belt and the rear access panel.
Note: Disconnect the machine from the power outlet before servicing to avoid the hazard of electric shock.
