Most manufacturers now recommend that you install an anti-vibration pad under the stock feet of the washing machine. For top-loading washers, Anti-Walk Silent Feet can't be beat. A set should cost aroudn $40 but is worth every penny of that. They take just a few minutes to install and will last longer than the washer will. The best price I found on these washer anti-vibration pads is on Amazon.com.

Silent Feet and Anti-Walk Silent Feet can now be ordered with free shipping from the company's website www.VibrationSolution.com. This is the best place to order them and try them out. They offer a no questions asked return policy.

The washer tub bearing may be defective, but that is the only thing that I can think of. Are you noticing this on all loads or just heavy items like bath towels and jeans? Are you redistributing the clothes before the final spin, try that. Also do not overload the washer, wash to medium loads instead of one full to the top load. Wastes water but saves on repairs.

This means it is stuck between the spin and rinse cycle and the time piece in the housing unit might need replaced if the knob itself isnt stripped also make sure it is on small or large load..

Excessive vibration on spin cycle.

Front loaders are prone to vibration problems. Don't want to go into the technical details of why, but it's important that they're placed on very solid surface (preferably concrete or tile), and checked that their feet have been adjusted so that the machine is level. Unfortunately, most people don't have a concrete pad for their washer. One simple option to consider is to provide dampening of the vibrations. This can be done very simply as this one fellow demonstrates. The main thing to keep in mind with this solution is that it is merely trying to dampen the vibrations. Don't be too forceful in your own solution (think lightly touching the top of a vibrating tuning fork with your finger to stop the tone).

Excessive vibration in spin cycle

Be sure the washer is on a solid surface, no plywood or skid platforms. Then be sure to lock in the front levelling legs.

Noisy spin cycle on washing machine

hi there,

Most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping/or sound
during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and
redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.
