OKI C9500 printer will not turn on

For some reason, it appears to have shut down from inactivity and will not come back online. we have had a service person out to look at it in the past but he said it was a power strip issue. We have unplugged and replugged with no luck. is there a reset button or something that I am missing to get this to reset and power back up?

SOURCE: Oki C9500 makes VERY LOUD clunking noises but prints fine...

The sound is most probably from one (or more) of the drum units. You can check by taking them out and trying to run the visible gears by hand. If you have spare drums, change them one at a time until you find the defective one.

SOURCE: OKI C9500

We had this issue and removing the optional hard disk fixed it for us, I'm guessing it was on the way out and wasn't really being used so it will not be missed.

SOURCE: Printer not communicating with computer

(1) Try a power cycle: Try turning the printer off, then unplug the power supply from the printer, then unplug the USB cable from the printer then the back of the computer; wait 30 second; then plug the USB cable back into the computer, then back into the printer then plug the power supply back into the printer and turn it on – run a test print: Start>Settings>Printers>Right-click on the printer>Properties>Print Test Page

(2) Update the USB drivers

Oki data c9500 belt always dirty

You will find the waste toner auger (Coiled wire in the plastic tube) is either snapped or blocked with hard toner. Its simple to remove as it just unscrews. If I remember correctly it sits under the transfer belt and runs down the back and right side of the base. Anyway clean and inspect it as that is what removes the waste toner.

Oki data c9500 job offset home error

Where the paper exits the printer you will see 3 black sensor arms hanging down. 1 is the exit sensor and the other 2 are job offset sensors. On of those 2 will be stuck. Just gently free it and all should be well.

Where does oki c9500 waste toner box located

Your printer does not have a waste toner bottle. Waste toner is stored within the transfer belt. When full it will give you an error indicating its time for a new transfer belt.

Color registration problem for Oki Data C9500

Brain-storm .... simple solution .... REPLACED Magenta Drum.... works as good as usual, but is still and always been out a little - very strange, depending on the stock, if I'm using a 10pt coated stock, color registration has always been a little out ( when the cyan and magenta are being used ((together)) - purple - dark blue etc ...)
