Camera display to clo0se applications to use camera,how?

Any other program using the camera? (such as custom filters.. etc) if you have anything that is using the camera application then it won't actually close until you close the hosting program; easiest way is to take out the battery WHILE THE PHONE IS ON (important part, that's why I yelled it :) ) and leaving it out for about 10-20 seconds, reinsert and try again

why is my camera not working, it is saying close other applications and try again.

uninstall the driver, unplug the camera, restart the pc, plugin the camera, wait till pc searching the device then install the driver again

This is what you should do, press and hold the menu key.. you'll get a display in a rectangular form with all programs that are currently running on your blackberry.

You can scroll through the open applications and for you to close all running applications, you'll have to click on your trick ball to get you to that open application and then you close it.

Go over the process of holding the menu key for about 10 seconds again until the rectangular window opens with applications that are currently open.

Click on another program and close it.... do this for all the applications until your have about 4 applications running. Once it's reduced to this you would be able run your camera.

if some application is running u cant use the camera ...only if u close it u can use de camera

Very gently take the back off of the Blackberry, slightly push in on the camera itself, reboot and the camera should work.

I found out the hard way selling my phone on eBay only to have it returned because the camera didn't work. It's a hardware issue and not a software issue.

If it's still under warranty, try and get a new phone, otherwise --problem solved.

My camera had hte same problem for months and this just fixed it!!

1)Remove back cover

2)Press gently, but firmly on lense (you should hear a click)

3)Battery Pull

Apparently if dropped at all, the camera can shift!!

try going to a competent technician and have it checked. it may be a software problem. he might be able to reset the configurations as well as update some softwares.

check for viruses first, then unistall the camera and reinstall the drivers for the camera
