You need to check and make sure the evaporator fan is running in the freezer compartment while the unit is in the cooling mode if it is then check the damper in the top of the fridge and make sure it is opening all the way to allow the cold air in the fridge.if ti does not open it needs to replaced.
If the fan is not running it needs to be replaced also check for excessive ice build up in the freezer compartment that would also block the air flow
the damper is behind the little panel at the top of the fridge remove the panel and the damper looks like a little trap door with a small spring this shouls open and close to allow the cold air in the fridge once you remove the cover turn off the fridge and watch to see if the damper closes if it is closed leave the fridge door open about five minutes then turn the unit back on and wait for the compressor to start working and the damper should open
there has got to be some kind od restrictio between the freezer compartment and the fridge

Thanks for your response. The fan is working, but where can I find the Damper? I see a covering inside the fridge at the back of the top shelf, is the damper behind it? Could you describe it?
Alton.
I have located the Damper. The damper was open while the power was on. I powered down the fridge. After 1 min I powered up the unit and the damper closed for 30 sec and then reopened, but no air is comming through the trap door. I also unplugged the fridge for 10 hrs today before I tested the damper. The fan is working and has no obstructions.
The freezer is already cold.
