Sansui SAN1880 80g dvd recorder no colour

Hi, i am looking for some help. i just brought a Sansui hdd recorder and am not getting any colour at all. the TV Channels, playing a DVD and even the players menu comes up in black and white. I am using the Std AV cables red, yellow, white. should i be using something else? could my TV be to old?

I have an RCA l32wd12yx7 flat screen and whe te dvd plyare is hooked up to it it only shows black ans white. How would i fix this and if so could you plz be specific.

Hi, I have a Sansui Model San1880, after I have manually program the TV channels, I don't get no sound at all only on the TV channels its got good pictures but no sound, would you please tell me what to do.

Looking for a shop to repair my TOSHIBA DVD recorder
You can most likely remove the HDD and hook up to a PC with a USB - HDD dongle. This will/should allow access to the data on the HDD, this could then be copied off to the PC's HDD, and then converted or played, to do this you will have to get and install the correct CODEC, used to do this.

Burning home movies from recorder to disc
make sure its finalizing the disc you may have to go into menu or options to check, but if plays in the but not in standalone thats sounds like the problem.

Sansui San0218-250GB.
i had the same problem with my sansui san0218-160 dvd recorder. i found the power supply board inside the case had failed, so i replaced two faulty capacitors on the power supply board and reassembled the recorder, it`s working like new again. hope this may be of some help.
