The door is always wet on the inside. I use the heated drying cycle. Glasses don't always come clean, are spotted, and the silverware is still wet. We have a water softner so that is not causing the spotting.

Frigidaire 24' doesnot clean the dishes after complete wash cycle. sometimes it seems as if the top rack does'nt even get wet please advise

ron singh, Have you just moved in to this home? I recently had this same problem.is your water from a well? or is the city water from a well.I just moved from the big city to a smaller suburb out the city. The water in the new place is extremely hard. all of our silverware and glasses had a coating on them. The heated dry cycle made even worse. we had to install a water softener for the whole house. This also helped in the showers and washing machine. The film will go away after softener is installed. There is nothing wrong with the dishwasher.
Hope this helpsJoe Connolly

If you have hard water, glasses can look spotted and cloudy even after cleaning. Sometimes changing the dishwasher detergent can help. The easiest solution to clearing up glasses that start to look cloudy is to add some vinegar to the bottom of the dishwasher before you start a cycle. Simply add 1/4 of white vinegar and it will clear up your glasses very well.
You should see marked improvement after the first time you do this. If they are not crystal clear then simply repeat the process until all of the cloudiness is gone. In fact I recommend to using a little vinegar in each cycle to maintain the clarity of the glass.

Note: you can pre-test this by rubbing some vinegar on an individual glass with a cloth. If you cannot remove the cloudiness by soaking it and rubbing vinegar on it then it is possible that the glass is etched due to harsh or cheap dishwasher detergent and vinegar will not solve the problem.

Other things to try: CLR on the spray nozzles to loosen up cloggs.Check the filters to be sure they are clear.

White spots left on glasses and silverware

The white residue could be water spots from hard water. They are most notably left on clear plastic glasses, clear glasses, and silverware. If your silverware is authentic sterling silver you shouldn't be washing it in the dishwasher anyways as this ruins it.------

The best advice for the hard water is to use jet dry there should be a dispenser for this on your dishwasher. The other solution is to use those oxi clean tablets or the cascade 2 in 1 gel packs. normally, this is caused by hard water. try using a dying agent like jet dry, it will stop the white spots. good luck.--------

This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya

White film on dishes, glasses and silverware.

white film is actually from the calcium and magnesium found in hard water. your dishwasher is fine. its the water leaving the residue and spots. go to www.dishwasherfilter.com . they have a new product out exactly for this reason. very affordable and works amazing. you will love it.

Dishwasher does not clean dishes and leaves spots on everything!!

You need 2 things. Slightly hotter water and a rinse agent. If you don't heat dry your dishes, crack the door 3 or 4 inches after it's done, to let the steam out.

Bosch dishwasher she45m

Just bought a Bosch dishwasher and we were told that they have no heating mechanism to dry the dishes, which is why they are more energy efficient.  You are supposed to leave the door closed for at least one hour after the cycle is complete.  The heat that has built up inside during the wash cycle will dry the dishes.  It is also recommended to always use JetDry. If you follow this advice, the dishes will come out fine.
