how was the name reset and by who??????
if you mean you have to reset your router to the factory default settings
(note all settings will be lost you will need to reconfigure the router)
you will need to reset the device to factory defaults. However, once the device is reset to factory defaults, depending on your router) to reconfigure your router settings or if there is a small hole in the front or back of the router push a hair pin in to reset to factory settings
Unfortunately, there is no way to recover a lost or forgotten password from a router or access point; you will need to reset the device to factory defaults. However, once the device is reset to factory defaults, you can use the default username ("admin") and password (either "password" or "1234" depending on your router) to reconfigure your router settings.
or
if there is a small hole in the front or back of the router push a hair pin in to reset to factory settings
hope this helps
Reset There are two ways to reset the Router's
factory defaults. Either press and hold the Reset
Button for approximately five seconds, or restore
the defaults from Administration > Factory
Defaults in the Router's web-based utility.
There should be a small hole with a red circle around it on the back of the router next to the power plug hole. Use a pin or straighten paper clip to push the tiny button.
Resetting to Factory Defaults
Hardware reset: Push the reset button on the back of the router for 15 seconds.
