Samsung LN-T4065F Dotted lines across screen

I just purchased a 40" Plasma LCD Samsung LN-T4065F and when the tv is powered on there are colored dotted lines across the screen. When I hit the menu button and exit out of the menu, the area where the menu screen appeared, the dots begin to disappear and then they begin to slowly appear again.

You can still see the picture thru the dots, they are just distracting.

Please help!!!!!

I have a Samsung LN-T4065F--problems turning on

I read the suggestions regarding replacing four, slightly bulging 1000 microfarad capacitors. This solved the problem. When I removed the capacitors, I checked them with an ohmmeter and they were all showing low resistance (partly shorted). The suggestions in this blog saved me several hundred dollars and I am very grateful. I would not recommend Samsung again as I feel they are using inferior components. The TV is only two years old and I live in a temperate climate in the Pacific Northwest.
