Recording or playing back

for all of you who have this problem. You can't record or playback anything and your power light is blinking. Just turn it on and off on and off. I did this for about 5 minutes. Just turning off and on and then trying to play or record something then took out the tape and blew with a duster for cleaning your keyboard and that worked. This has happened before and well that worked for me. Hope it helps anyone outthere.

Won't work with tape installed

I had this same problem. At my wedding, and didn't get to record it because of it. When I got home I put a new tape in and worked fine. It was just a bad tape.

Can't record or playback

when the red light flashes the camera either has a fault with tape mech or the lens unit. This should be checked by a panasonic technician.
