My 42" Plasma TV has always been plugged on the outlet. Today, I found there was no red light on the TV. I tried to unplug and re-plug, there was no power come to the TV set. I don't see there is any place for fuse replacement or other opening that I can check. Any suggestions? Samsung 50" Plasma TV. Blue light around power switch not on. TV willnot power up. TV is < 1yr. old. Unplugged & plugged TV back in. Tried leaving it unplugged over night. No results. Tried different plug on power bar also.
Hello!
most probably the fuse inside the circuit blown out, You should open the back of the tv to become circuit board visible. But this hard when novice do it.
To be sure that everything will be alright i would rather suggest you to bring the tv to the nearest service center. maybe warranty work for that.

Have you tried a completely different wall socket altogther/
Are other items on the power board working? If there is power at the point you are using, then the Tv has a power supply failure. It will generally need someone with high voltage experience to have a look at it for you. Because the set is just out of warranty, I strongly suggest that you phone an authorised service agent of Samsung and make a big fuss about the fact it has failed so close to the warranty being over. They are often willing to extend the warranty to cover the problem you may have. This means no cost to you, and you have your set expertly repaired. Let me know how you go.

Thank you. I will be bringing the TV in this week to get it repaired. Should be warranty. TV is less than year old. Just wanted to get some advice on what the problem might be.
Yes did try a different plug. Other units on the power bar are working. I do believe I have a few days left before the warranty runs out. Will be contacting retailer tomorrow.
Thanks
