Hello- Gas ranges have ignitors that light the burners. The lower burner is accessable by removing bottom pan in oven. Ignitor is held in place by two screws. Connector is plugged in behind bottom drawer. Check resistance of ignitor - should be 4ohms or higher. Sometimes they just break. New part available thru local app. parts. 50-75$. Be careful installing new part- ceramic ignitors are fragile. Take your time- toughest part is reaching in to do work. Hope this helps.- Thanks- ED

Oven wont heat up

Most likely the problem will be in the control unit. Something is stopping the relays for the oven and broiler from working.
This site has a diagram of your range and a price for the part.

Broiler doesn't lite, no gas going to pilot

Most cases Broiler ignitor is out, after you turn on the Broiler, check the voltage on Broiler ignitor 2 wires, if you have approx. 110v, then change the ignitor, but you don't have 110v, then check Broiler safety valve and oven thermostat, but 90% of the time is the Broiler ignitor. Have fun.

Oven broiler and auto clean not working.

if the oven broiler isnt working self clean wont either check the broiler element to see if its burned out pretty easy to replace most of the times you can replace it from inside the oven be sure to turn the power off then remove the two retainers from inside and pull element out

No oven baking function

You need to replace the oven ignitor. The ignitor has to draw enough current to open the gas valve. Your ignitor is either broke or not working properly, so the ignitor will not lite the oven.

Oven igniter will not lite

Replace the igniter. Even if it's glowing red hot, it is still likely the problem. Evidently the oven reads the resistance across the heating element, and when it doesn't detect enough resistance, it knows that the igniter is wearing out, thus not getting hot enough, and you're going to have a hard time igniting the gas. So, it won't turn on the gas -- how thoughtful of your oven to keep you from blowing up.

I had the same problem until I read all about it at http://fixitnow.com/wp/2004/09/19/appliance-repair-revelation-troubleshooting-a-gas-oven-that-wont-fire-up/

If you're in a bind and need to use your oven tonight (or you want proof that it's the igniter going bad), you can try stealing the igniter from the broiler and using it to replace the igniter for the main part of the oven. Since most people use the broiler less than the regular "bake" feature of the oven, that igniter lasts longer.

Oven & broiler not working

you ignitor is going out you will need to replace it the ignitor needs to draw a min of 3.2 amps in order to open the gas valve coil if short of this it will not open at thimes it may just have enough to open
