My NS-37LCD background went completely white. It's like I lost the colour black from the tv. Any suggestions on repair?

Tv lost color, now just black and white. any way to correct this problem?

Try going into the menu on the tv. Once you are in the menu look for "restore factory defaults". Restore the tv back to factory. If this doesn't get you your colour back then i would suggest that something more serious is wrong with the tv

I have a Toshiba Regza 32lv 703G lcd tv. I switched it on and I have lost my colour. It only displays in black and white although the menu screen is till displaying in colour. Kindly advise. Thanks!

It is pretty much junk, sorry to say it but your picture tube went out and it is cheaper to buy a new t.v. My grandpa use to fix them for us for free but he passed:( If you call some where see how much they would charge for a picture tube, I bet it's expensive???

My sony grand wega gives a blue shade on the black background which is the problem

HI, Check the menu set up of the TV. There should be an alignment feature that aligns the blue, red, and green colour projectors. If the blue is out of alignment that is likely why you can see it on the dark backgrounds. The set up normally puts a white cross on the screen and you select each of these colours and then move the cross over the white on with the arrows on your remote. Once all are aligned correctly you shouldn't be able to distinguish between different colours and hopefully this should get rid of your blue shade.

I have an insignia ns-37lcd tv.It is 1 1/2 years old. This morning the screen shut off, however the sound still works through the stereo that runs through the tv.help

This failure could be in the power supply most likely but it could also be in the inverter assembly as well.
When the TV fails to turn ON completely but still has audio is due to defective capacitors in the 24VDC line that powers up the inverter board.
If you require more assistance let me know.

Lg 32lc2r, only showing picture in black and white

Make sure that the color control level is set to the default or 50% to start with. This should be in the Video menu.

The colour for the tuner and for the encoded base-band video uses a circuit area called the colour demodulator. It is possible that this cirucuit area has failed and needs servicing.

Picture only shows in black & white when playing DVD

Same problem with an older JVC player. One end of the S-video cable was loose. Pushed in in tight and everything ok again. Cheap fix if it works for you.
