The error indicator is staying lit constantly on our church's e-studio 162D. The display states "Maintenance Required Call for Service". What could the problem be? Does the unit have a toner waste bottle that needs replacing??? Or, is there something more serious wrong with the copier that truly requires a service tech?
The drum counter reaches 25000 copies , it's time to change the drum and reset counter .
Enter the reset mode by pressing : # - * - c - * .
then press : 20 - start -01- start - CA - CA .

The e-STUDIO162 Series can do GDI printing out of the box. It can do PCL printing if the optional GA-1170 controller is installed. The GA-1170 is attached to the back of the MFP and connects to the USB port. Postscript printing is available if the Postscript option has been installed on the GA-1170.
