Unplug your dryer for ten min. This will reset the circuit board and reboot the system. Sometime small power surges can disrupt the curcuit and cause the unit to get confused. Rebooting usually will fix this type of problem with surges.
could possibly be the heater element failed check it with an ohmmeter should read below 30 ohms if there is no reading then it is open circuit and needs replacing
