Printer problem i have hp officejet 4355 all in one printer...when i inserted the black new cartridge it showed an error..."refer to device documentation to troubleshoot..when i removed the cartridge it says insert cartridge on the right...why is this hapening???what is the solution??i tried cleaning it also..but nothing happened...

Each cartridge having printing life, as long as cartridge health condition is good it won't gives any trouble. Subjected series printer having mono & colour cartridges,1. Remove both cartridge from the printer 2. Switch on & wait till message appears for insert the cartridges..3. Insert mono(Black) cartridge, close the door & wait till message appears on screen. If message appears same as cartridge error mean that mono cartridge is faulty replace it, if message appears like insert another cartridge, it's confirmed that colour cartridge faulty.. Replace it..

This is an internal electrical malfunction within the cartridge - I suggest you run the following two service tests:
1) You can 'temporarily' bypass an 'Incompatible Cartridge' error (or any other cartridge electrical malfunction error for that matter) by accessing the OJ's service menu...see the Inkjet411.com support youtube video found here:

2) You can also run the 'tap 41' diagnostics check on the HP 901 cartridge(s) electrical health, via the access code/procedure shown in the following video:

Cartridge error means the total failure of a print cartridge. Purchase a new one and replace, it will start working.

you have to use genuine cartridges

this is due to carrage cable problem.change the carrage unit

Clean the cartridge stand and cartridge it self with ISO profile, if not then replace the Head cable..

your cartridge may be faulty if you change cartridge and message display same problem so clean catridge block contact with soft cloth clean cartridge back side using student eraser if problem will continue so contact your hardware technician
